Privacy Policy

Moon or Doom collects the data needed to run idea analyses, keep accounts working, and operate public pages safely. This is a startup-level policy, not a claim of full legal compliance.

What we collect

We collect account and authentication data from Supabase, idea submissions and URLs you send for analysis, the generated verdict and evidence we create from that input, and operational usage data needed to secure and run the product.

How we use it

We use this data to authenticate users, generate and display verdicts, support credits and unlocks, moderate public content, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Public pages

Free analyses are public by default. Public result pages and share cards may contain AI-generated summaries based on the idea you submitted. Do not submit confidential material unless you are comfortable with that exposure model.

Processors and services

The product currently uses Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication and database/storage, OpenAI for model processing, and Firecrawl for URL extraction when enabled. Additional services may be added as the product evolves.

Cookies and retention

The app uses essential cookies for login sessions and private result access. We do not currently use a marketing cookie banner because the app does not ship non-essential analytics or advertising cookies today. We keep data for as long as it is needed to operate the service, support moderation, or meet legal obligations, then trim or delete it when practical.

Requests and contact

For privacy questions, access requests, correction requests, or deletion requests, contact support@moonordoom.co.
